true szechuan flavors with strong korean influences. came here late on a weeknight and it was hard to tell who worked there and who were customers, which made the place feel like one big family. our server was really sweet and recommended good dishes.
the hot pot was incredible if you love szechuan peppers and the tingling sensation they give
the toothpick lamb was dry fried in szechuan peppers and was perfect drinking food
the potato noodles were a nice palate cleanser but not sure i'd order them again
its hard to find good szechuan without going real far east, and the vibe here was super warm and friendly

visited early afternoon 3-4pm on a afternoon, no one was in there, the staff was about take their lunch
reason of visiting was to satisfy our chinese food craving, living in koreatown, authentic mainland china cuisine seemed like a world away.
odumak i have no idea what it means, the owner speaks fluent chinese and korean
the menu is very generalized for example i ordered house noodle which is house soup with corn noodle but turns out it was extremely spicy, which i don't mind but I can see a customer bleed out their nose of how spicy it was haha ( i eat spicy so it would be a 4.5/5 fire level )
wife ordered hotpot , basic sichuan mala style with peppers and all, basic veggies in there, she wish there was more noodles in though
the place is very picturesque, i think next time its better to eat with a decent group to share and I can see it a fun place to share a meal in the evenings, I think people order the lamb, smaller dishes to share
until next time lady! -

This is our saved place for Chinese and Korean food!
A huge fan of the rice sausage and potato strings.
Everything is tasty! Price a little bit high but fine! -

I ordered three dishes. All of them are really tasty! They have exactly the same flavor from my hometown! The design of the restaurant is also very beautiful which is Northeastern China style. Besides, the waitress was very friendly and warm to us. I will definitely go back again! I will keep trying other dishes which seems very good!

Odumak serves very good tradition Chinese and Korean food.
SERVICE (5/5):
The owner was so friendly and could speak multiple languages (Japanese, Korean, and Chinese). She helped us order and was very fast.
FOOD (5/5):
Very good options, my recommendations are listed below:
- potato noodles (a great dish that takes some of the heat away from the other dishes)
- toothpick lamb (favorite)
- mapo tofu
- tofu soup
I do not recommend the hot pot here.
ATMOSPHERE (4.5/5):
Surprisingly empty at times but comfortable inside. Must valet to park in the lot ($3).
